Corru-Lath is an economical & versatile plasterlath for plaster or cement rendering.
* Manufactured from 0.5mm galvanised mild steel
* Corrugated, therefore does not require spacers or battens
* Sheet size 2400 long x 700mm wide to fit 600mm stud centres. Each sheet weighs 1.3kg.
* Can be used for normal flat surface plastering or many forms of circular construction eg. columns, curved walls, domes
* Forms accurate, strong, 90 degree corners
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Corru-Lath is a proven reinforcement system for solid plaster in a wide range of interior & exterior wall finishing applications. Corru-Lath is manufactured by IPSCO Ltd using two processes. The first slits and expands galvanised steel sheet to form a diamond pattern. The second roll forms the special corrugations into the expanded sheet to provide Corru-Lath with strength and rigidity which, for most solid plaster applications, eliminates the need and cost of erecting solid backing.
Corru-Lath also eliminates the need for battens or spacers due to its self-furring ability. When fixed in accordance with IPSCO's instructions (Refer Technical Manual TM:202), Corru-Lath plastered walls will give a perfect finish that looks good, and lasts with very little maintenance.
